    Flash buttons with transparency?

Is it possible to make the background of a flash movie transparent, so I can lay it over the top of a jpeg and have the image underneath coming through.

I've down some really nice flash buttons that I would like to put over a background but a white rectangle surrounds them.

    Thanks for your help

    Graeme
