Css menu prob.

Hi everybody.. I'm new to this forum and hope somebody can help me!

I am corrently working on this site http://www.ideministeriet.eu/smsrecords/ and have a problem with the menu. when the mouse is hovering the submenu and you goes from one line to another it dissappears. then you have to go back to main menu to see the sub menu.. This prob only appears in ie.. Please help me solve this..

Seems to work OK for me in IE6 & 7.

Try to rollover the menu "Konkurrencer" and from there rollover the "Ugens" "Månedens" "All Time" "Regler" D'ont they dissaper when you go from one to another??

It works in my ie6 also but I must admit that the design isn't very user friendly because a lot of users won't know that they have to travel horizontally with the mouse and then vertically to access the menu (in the case of the last menu item).

I'm guessing that most users would move the mouse diagonally to reach the sub menu thus tripping another flyout on the way.

What Paul says is exactly what happened to me the first time, then I just took a bit more care when testing it and got it to work. So it is demanding more effort from the user than the average menu, and leading to errors. Usability testing with someone who hadn't seen the menu before would have shown this immediately as a problem. To quote a well-known book "don't make me think"

The menu is an usability nightmare for both blind and keyboard users.
