    Question Fonts illegible in Firefox

    Hey,

    my client says that the fonts are not legible in Mozilla Firefox for PC, however I have been unable to reproduce this bug. Can someone have a look at my new project and tell me if the fonts look good or not? In IE6 & 7 they seem ok... Thanks for any help.

    They may have their FF text size settings messed up?

    Site looks normal to me in Firefox

    The font-size is about 11px in the footer for me.

    I suggest you ask your client to take a screenshot of the page.

    The text is quite clear IMO! I dislike the footer background though!
    ask them to hit ctrl+0! (view > Text size > normal)

    Perfectly clear here! (screenshot: http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/4...torjenszo8.png)

    Note: I'm using Firefox on Linux, and my fonts are using 'subpixel smoothing', since I'm on an LCD (laptop).

    Make the dots in the footer a little darker, and you're good to go!

    If its a size issue then the default text size may have been reduced from the standard 16px to something smaller and then the text will appear very small (tools, options, content, default font).

    I usually use a method like this which gets around this issue by specifying the size in px.

    Code:
    /* main css */
    body{
        font-size: 13px;
    }
    Code:
    /* IE only CSS Document */
    body {font-size:x-small;f\ont-size:small}/*ie5 and 5.5. that are one size out*/
    body table{font-size:x-small;f\ont-size:small}/* ie5.+ bad inheritance into tables */

    OK, so far my client hasn't come back to me, but once he does, I will implement your ideas. Thanks a lot for all your input. I will give some feedback in due course. By the way, the new site can be found here. Enjoy!
