    mod_auth_oracle

I am trying to get mod_auth_oracle on solaris 8, we are having a few problems but I am curious about databases user_passwd field.

How should the passwd field be encrypted. (MD5 or other) I am using coldfusion so I wont be able to use the php md5 function.

    Thanks.

I don't believe that Oracle has a built-in SQL one-way hashing function. You'll need to look into either CF support or third party modules/plugins. Any of the one-way hashing algorithms, such as MD5, SHA1 or GOST, should be fine.
