    Frustrated with CSS positioning

I am currently very frustrated with CSS positioning. I cannot seem to get my site to look the same in the different browsers. I have it mostly the way I want in in Firefox but my lists on the landscaping page are terrible in IE7 and the whole site sucks in IE6

I am at a loss as to how to fix the problem. I thought I understood floats but I seem to be sadly mistaken.

Here is a link to the site:

    style sheet
    www.mrcleanandgreen.com/styles/cg.css

Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

    Thanks you so much...

Every time you use position : absolute/relative in CSS, god kills a kitten (its not always true, but everyone who is using 'poisiton' all the time, is doing it wrong).

    Here is the direction.
