linking stylesheets from different sites?

aThere are two sites:
'site A' - that is used to administer other sites for user panels, payment process, etc. Basically a .com

'site B' -an others like it where users sign on and make payment, etc at site A for. Basically .mobi's (mobile)

Question is, is it alright to link to css fwith absolute addresses from one site to another, in this case site B to site A -- since most css are already defined there.

Anything against this or that I should know would go much appreciated.

I think that would work, but then if your other site went down...
Why dont you just copy the css file to site B?

There will be other sites as well, some with common css, which I probably should have mentioned - being administered out of siteA. Would rather run out of stylesheet out of central location rather than run duplicate css stylesheets. By the way, they are on the same server as well.
