    Cool div not centering in FF

    I am working on a site that I need to float a div over an image, a slideshow really. The div will contain buttons and a search form. Looks good in IE 6.0 but does not work in FF or Netscape.

    Link to the site is http://woodallcreative.com/proofs/krk/new/

    This is the protion of the css that is not working
    Code:
    .trio {
    width: 712px;
    top: 504px;
    position: absolute;
    float: left;
    margin-left: 10px;
    text-align: center;
    z-index: 1001;
    }
    I know the css is not the most elegant or for that matter entirely correct, but this is what I am working with.

    Any assistance or help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Just so you know (looking at the code example) you cannot mix absolute positioning and floats together in the same style rule since floats remove elements from the flow with respect to their location while absolute positioning removes elements from the flow with respect to the viewport (unless their parent's position has been set to relative or absolute).
