    browser rendering machine

I should have kept all of my old bookmarks when I changed jobs.

There was a site, whose name I can't remember. When you typed in a URL it would pop up a little applet window, that would render the page as it would be displayed by the browser of your choice. e.g. mosaic, ie2, ns2, ns3 etc.

Does anyone know where it is?

    Thanks in advance

If you have Adobe Photoshop 5 or 6, it includes this feature under "Save for Web."

I don't know exactly which site you're talking about, and I have no idea what Marshall's talking about, but these are the sites I have bookmarked:
    • Browser Emulator—includes Mosaic, Netscape 1, etc.
    • Lynx Me—Lynx emulator, good for checking accessibility features, etc.

and I have no idea what Marshall's talking about
Lack of sleep is bad. I believe I was referring to Photoshop's ability to show images using different browsers' Web pallets. Of course, that doesn't have a whole lot to do with Joe's question :-)

    Apologies to anyone confused,
    - Marshall
