    Mongrel problem

I've got my app working fine but when I try to start mongrel on my server I get the following:

    Code:
    [root@www1 xxxxxx]# mongrel_rails start -e production

    Any ideas?

This error tells you that there already is a server running on that port. Choose a different port or shut down the other server.

    I've done the following:

    Code:
    ps aux | grep mongrel
    Which gives me the following:

    Code:
    root 4556 0.0 0.0 4608 624 pts/0 S+ 15:28 0:00 grep mongrel
Which is the grep command I just ran. I can't find any other mongrel instances running.

Is there something else I should be looking for?
    hmm...

Does it work if you use a different port?

    I've just tried

    Code:
    mongrel_rails start -e production -p 3333
    and that seems to work.
    hmm...
