    I need some help...

    This is a little project that I'm working on and I'm stuck.
    If you goto www.plasmapages.com/f_boxes.html
    NOW notice the listbox in the frame on the right, select meats or produce. NOW notice in the .swf file on the left it got passed in. NOW if you click the Get button it will show that location. It works fine, but I don't want them to have to click the 'Get" button, rather just select it from the list box and have it show that location.

    Can ANYONE help me?

    Thanks alot

    Golgotha, if your detecting the data being passed from html it shouldn't be that difficult to automate the process.

    Could post an example of the AS your using?

    the AS on the Get button is:
    on (release) {
    var box1 = _root.boxname2
    loadVariables ("pointsframe.asp", "aspholder", "POST");

    }

    Ok, here's what I think it comes down to.
    in regular JavaScript you have events such as onChange or onSelect that can be placed on Input type boxes. BUT, you dont have those events in a dynamic text box in Flash, so what do you do?
