mysql security question

Is anyone familiar with MYODBC?

I have set up the DSN and when I test it I get the connected successful dialog, however when I try to use the DSN (like in Access or similar) I get:

"Reserved Error, there is no message for this error"


I don't have any of the ODBC flags set, should some be checked?
