Thread: mkdir problems
Aug 23, 2007, 02:38 #1
I have created a script that creates a new directory on the server. The new directory is created with 755 permissions. However, when I try to upload files to the directory via FTP i get permission denied message. I think this is because mkdir() by default creates the directory with the root user. I have also tried chown() but get a permission denied error on the dir too.
Does anyone know a way around this?

You can only chmod a file or directory if it has the same owner as the script's owner ("apache").my mobile portal
