    short hand font must follow an order?

    I remember back when I used short hand font
    ie:
    Code CSS:
    .Foo
    {
    font: bold 12px;
    }
    something like this would work, but it doesn't. Is there some kind of order I must follow with the shorthand font tag?

    The order isn't important but the font shorthand property must include font-size and font-family.

    And, if I recall correctly, the leading (line-height) as well, directly after the font size declaration.

    No, the line height is not required. Only the font size and the font family.

    Hence the "If I recall correctly" comment. Sometimes when you work with something long enough, you can tend to forget why you're using it the way you are.

    That's why have a CSS2.1 panel and an HTML4 panel in Opera. Two clicks will take me to the relevant definition in the respective specification. It's a great aid for those of us with weak memories.

    I hardly ever use those, despite having them there.

    You're younger than I am. Perhaps your memory is better.
