    IE6 Forms

    Hi,

    I have a form to build and it has a tricky element of side by side input boxes.

    http://happyxhtml.com/pipe/newcontact.html

    If you look at it in Safari or Firefox you can see what I am trying to do. In IE6 every input box is on its own line, and that is now what I want.

    Any ideas would be most appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hello,

    I think this is related to the FAQ item - 50% + 50% = 101%!
    Have a look through that after, it can be fixed by giving one of the halves a negative margin moving it over a pixel and stopping the rounding error from pushing the floats downwards.
    Code:
    form#new_event_form p input.half {
    	margin-right: 5px; /* 50% + 50% + 5px ? */
    	width: 50%;
            margin-left: -1px;
            font-size: 1em;
    }
