Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server

    Hello folks

I'm really stuck on this problem. My website works well on my local machine. When I try to deploy it to my remote hosting services server, I get the following message. I have access to the ASP.net settings on the remote server, but nothing I do seems to work. Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance.

Google for "Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to failure in retrieving the user's local application data path. Please make sure the user has a local user profile on the computer. The connection will be closed."

Could be a problem with the account under which ASP.NET is executed under IIS. If that account does not have a local user profile you wil get this error. Have you changed this account? (On W2003 it should be "Network Service").
