I recently began a java help website at www.freejavahelp.com (its only about 2 months old) and am starting to promote it.
I have submitted to search engines, and am not getting as high as I would like in the rankings. Could someone take a look at my site and maybe give me a few tips?
Also, do you have any other suggestions for promoting? I would be willing to do a button exchange. Could someone suggest a fast one that won't slow down my load time too much?
Good luck with your new web site, it looks pretty good so far. Try developing link swaps with similar sites. Our own site offers some free advertising services & tips [cough, cough, www.web-master.tv ] Sorry! Another popular option with many new site owners is bcentral.com, although I highly discourage using them -- had several really disappointing ad campaigns there. Also, WebDevExchange.com is a great exchange you might want to try. Hope this helps.
