    Change Div Opacity on Mouseover/Mouseout

I have a div that does a gradual decrease in opacity on mouseover. The only problem is that any time I put my mouse over a link in that div, it counts it as a mouseout, though the link exists in the div.

Anyway to stop this, I want the mouseover to remain while the mouse is on the link (in the div).

    Thanks

Internet explorer created a very nice event for this, called onmouseenter. If you're using addEventListener, you should be doing this in the bubbling phase, i.e. the last parameter should be false. I get confused with bubbling and capturing, but I'm pretty sure that's what you want. Could you post some code? Just the relevant bits please. Also,
is it the same in IE and FF/Opera/Safari?
