Music artists websites

Hello all,

I am a hobbyist who designs websites for some local bands in my city.

Perhaps you guys out there could supply some links/suggestions about some of your favourite musicians' websites. I'd like to get some input as to what is popular and I'm always looking for new ideas.

I'm not too crazy about super-flash intensive sites. I ususally just use dreamweaver and fireworks.

The thing that annoys me the most on a band's website is making it difficult to find information about where and when they're playing, or not having it updated, or not having it at all.

I know what I don't like generally. All show no go. I think even bands can offer decent content without comprising style.

I'm about to start my own company doing websites for musicians in particular. I feel the key area is to update the sites weekly as the fans will keep coming back to see what the bands have been doing.

I really like PJ Harvey's site. Simple, stylish and effective. Radioheads is a bit strange.

one of the best sites out there is the Lenny Kravitz site. It's done all in Flash and is amazing and amazingly simple to use.
