IGoogle Drag and Drop

    Hi Guys

I'm looking to develop a similar interface to IGoogle.

Does anybody know where I could find a good tutorial on how the drag and drop method is done, or could anybody explain how it works?

Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    Crabby

You can acheive the same affect by using this: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...drag/index.htm

I am not sure how they get those grids to highlight box positions though...

    Hello,

You don't want to learn a whole CMS to use drag and drop js.
Use an effects library and read the code from the examples and demos.

    Hi thanks for your reply

I don't intend to learn Drupal I just wanted to know how the backend script was integrated, unfortunately in the example I provided it comes as a Drupal module.

I've been looking into scriptaculous seems perfect for what I want to achieve.

Forgive me if this is stupid question, but I'm playing around with a script at the moment, would you have any ideas why this is not working

    PHP Code:

    <
    html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <
    head>
    <
    meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <
    link href="style/main.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <
    script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="js/library/prototype.js">

Test

Title 1

content

Title 2

content

column2

column3

    Thanks again for your reply
