Design in PSD, best way to use it in a new ASP.NET project?

    Hi,

I have a Photoshop PSD file. A design for a web application.
Now i want to start a new ASP.NET project in visual studio that makes use of that design.
What would be the best way to do this? Slice it up and copy the html in the project? Or is there a more efficient way of doing this?

Using Photoshops auto slicing function, to build a website is not the best solution.
It will generate a table based layout, and often create images that are bigger than required.

Imho it is better to slice it your self, and build the masterpage layout using css and divs.

    ^^^That dane speaks the truth.

Basically, handle it the way one should always handle photoshop designs--recreate it manually in XHTML and CSS, then cut that up into an effective MasterPage if required.
