    Encrypting source code

I'm hiring some new programmers to modify and upgrade current code. However, for security purposes (to prevent code theft), I'd like to encrypt some of the code. Are there software packages that can aid in this? I'd like to encrypt only some parts of the code, so at least they can still work on the rest.

    Anyone have experience in this?

Maybe you should just stop worrying about code theft I seriously doubt you have anything that is special.

So I ask you why bother protecting nothing of value?
    Logic without the fatal effects.
All code snippets are licensed under WTFPL.

Ok this is not the conversation I'm trying to have. Go tell that to Zend and tell them to stop making their product if you think this is pointless.

Yes I figured that would be the best option. Wonder why it didn't hit me earlier.
