    Hi,

I submitted my site to several search engines a few days ago, and I cannot find it anywhere. It is just as if my promotion request was ignored. How long does it usually take search engines to process the web page information?

    Thanks-
    Randy

It can take upto 4 weeks to get lsited in most search engines, more on others. Whatever you do don't repeatadly submit your site else they will blacklist you for spamming them and you won't get listed at all.

I've had a similar problem. Is there anywhere else we can post our sites to generate traffic while we're impatiently waiting for the search engines to catch up? And how often can we re-submit to search engines without them thinking we're spamming?

The most important thing to remember with search engines is patience. When you're in, good results can result. Don't over-submit your site, or it won't be added.

Make sure to use Meta tags. Good luck!
