    hi
    i want to start using php frameworks.
    could anybody tell me the best rated and practiced framework of php and also tutorials,books and videos if any.....
    its urgent plzzz.....

    I would guess Zend Framework would be the best, as far as that goes. The link takes you to the ZF "Why Us" page to give you their benefits they see.

    Honestly, I haven't really used any groups' frameworks, so others would have to give their experience on that.

    Check out symfony. The documentation is one of the best. Their site is symfony-project.com, but it's currently down right now.

    I would suggest CodeIgniter, its one of the most simplest to learn from the start and its documentation its brilliant.

    Personally I would suggest cakephp

    But everyone has different preferences and comfort level. Draw up some criteria what are you looking for in a framework, what's your comfort level with template systems, object oriented programming, community, documentation, support, licensing etc etc.

    CakePHP and Symfony are pretty much the best at the moment..
