    resize image on server

    hi,

Suppose i have few images all 600x400 or above in folder "/images" I'd like to resize one of them to 180x180 or somewhat, and save as a thumbnail preview of that huge image.

lets say i have winter.jpg, sky.png, test.gif - I want to know how to resize (.jpg, gif and png). Lets say i want to resize the winter.jpg to 180x180 and save as winterthumb.jpg

is there a good way on going about doing this? thanks

You can use GD or ImageMagick... if ImageMagick is installed on the server then this makes it much easier/quicker...
