    Smile

I am new to web building - so I cant give you any technical or design comments but

I like to look on this forum for inspiration- I certainly got that on your website.

I like the simplicty of the layout there is lots of white space and I like the fact the that the viewer stays on the same page rather than clicking between- the pages came to me. And all the art work is amazing.

the down sides for me it may not worry others - the moving images and text just moved a bit too fast- so i felt a little bit disorientated and bombared -

also the inital down load for me was quite long - but worth the wait

Well you lost me with the loading. The graphic is offensive at best and if you really must take a dump, at least try to be quick about it.

I dont think the graphic is offensive at all. It is nice to see someone who doesnt seem to be wanting to create a website that fits in, but creating something unique and momorable. The only issue is the loading, it does take a long time ( and i have a fast connection ) If you could maybe make it so that the whole site doesnt load in one big go, but loaded as you browsed.

Otherwise good effort on a very nice and inspirational site. & The work in your portfolio is great, nice work all round.

wow truely a lovely design, ur one creative dude.

one thing i found a little annoying , is when you rollover the portfolio items the image on top just changes, I wish it would do a little fading effect , nothing strong just fast fades in and out , i think it would be easier on the brain that way.

also ur resume has an extra page for some reason.

The Flash movie that shows your work goes by faster than I'd like. I want to see your designs, and I'm sure that is the purpose for you....you want to sell your work. I see that you have some cllickable links at the bottom which focus individually on the designs, but the other thing you ant to remember is "Less is More". The site is a little "design heavy".....The funky fonts are a little much. Other than that, it functions well and good luck in the future with your work.

Nice to see all those amazing replies

    Thank you all everyone,

I just have 1 thing to say to all. And it is This web site did its job So I am planing to make another one.

I got the opportunity to study at Parsons NY by the help of this online portfolio which was truly the aim of this concept; which was to make the jury get impressed and make them to remember me.

Who can forget the shitting creative machine

I should be truly honest, I FIND MY BEST IDEAS IN THE LOO

Wish me luck for the next online portfolio, this time I will make one with more motion graphics bcoz I will learn how to do that in NY the newschool for design.

Thank you all once more for all the critics.

very nice. the only things i would suggest are the following:

    1. is to make the portfolio links change appearance upon hover.
    2. is to structure the page using HTML (for the content), and CSS (for the styling); and only use flash for the animated sections. could just be my preference, but the way the industry is changing, you may want to make your page more accessible by allowing the user to change text size and such. i'm sure you've heard this before. there's a lot of hype around CSS right now. but i bet if you tried it, you'd love it.

your stuff looks great though. nice work!

I think the site is kind of busy -- there is a lot going on and it doesn't guide me to any particular action. I eventually found your portfolio and I love the way you presented your work. Overall, good design but I am not sure what the purpose of the site is.

I love it! the concept of showing rough sketches on toilet paper and then the final, actual design is brilliant!

Can the banner movement be more user friendly, it just has to much movement for me i closed your site before i clicked naything because i don't like watching banners like that.

As DCS said, the toilet paper idea is pretty funny, but i think you could do better if a user had the option to cycle through those screens with buttons instead of being forced to look at them all whizzing by.

You have a nice website but the loading of your site is so slow maybe because of the loading time or you have a heavy graphics of your flash site. For seo purposes, flash site is not advisable and not easy to crawl. I suggested that you add a link for HTML based or Flash file.

    Amazing work

myloovelyideas.com is amazing in a way that clicking on any tab opens ashort new window rather than opening a new page on top of the current open page whcih gives the visitor easy accessibility to stay on the home page all the time. Also I like the sliding animation about your past work. The only thing I would like you to do is find out a way to cut down the loading time of the site.
