sitepoing really slow?

is it me or has sitepoint been really slow like the last 3 weeks or so? especially the forums. really sluggish. what is going on?

I noticed it, too, but I messed up my computer and thought it was me. The problem is especially noticeable on first entry.

Nope. All day long. Posts run very slow, too.

Since about a month now there was a noticeable decrease in performance (for me anyway).

It's just been barely crawling...

However I've not been immune to sluggishness in the past so I understand the frustration, I'm sure there must be some reason for certain time zones experiencing problems.

Yes very slow indeed,
It is mostly slow with some occasional bursts of High Speed for me ...
Actually the only fast thing seems to be editing a post and pressing save (which is understood since it uses ajax techniques)

Yes, it's something that we're addressing by splitting of the Marketplace/Contests onto their own dedicated server cluster.

This will dramatically decreate the load on the existing servers which handle our articles/blogs/forums.
