How to get HTML sig in your e-mail

I've seen a few people with HTML sigs in their e-mail that look pretty cool. It gives you a chance to put in a cool graphic with a link to your homepage and some other stuff. I'm wondering...

1. How do you do it?

2. What % of e-mail clients out there support HTML? What will it look like for clients that don't support HTML?

If I'm not mistaken the majority of clients out there have the capability to display HTML...some might have to be set that way, though.

What's weird is that I can receive an HTML sig in my e-mail (Outlook express) but when I compose an e-mail using HTML it just comes out as showing the code. Is there some secret handshake I'm missing out on here???

Is Outlook express set to send text, rich text or email when you send an email? Look in the options.

OE is set to send HTML (it's either than setting or text).

Still doesn't work. All I'm doing is typing a message and then including a sig that has been formatted in full HTML, for instance:

&lt;body&gt;
&lt;table&gt;
Here's the sig
&lt;/table&gt;
&lt;/body&gt;

My understanding is that in MS Outlook you can only send a signature either using 'Text' or 'File'...

When choosing "tools&gt;options&gt;signature" in Outlook, I haven't been able to compose my signature using HTML in 'Text' (as when you compose your email using Rich Text/HTML) BUT you can use the 'File' option and browse to a published HTML page/graphic.

Create a web page &gt; be creative with your usual signature info &gt; then add any graphic that you want &gt; upload it to the internet &gt; and add the HTML in the 'File' option instead...Just keep it small so it doesn't take too long to load

And those only receiving text format in their emails won't be able to view it...

I created a signature in Outlook 2K using the Rich Text features and it automatically converted it to HTML.. A lot of people really dislike HTML in their email though so it might have a negative impact.
