is this on a wordpress.com blog or on your own hosted version? If you host it yourself, it's very easy. You just drop the adsense script in your theme template and it's there.

If it's a hosted version, you can't use adsense.

Blogspot has a built-in AdSense plugin which takes one click to get activated.

Although im a newbie in terms of actualy posts, i have read the forum for some time now - so hi everyone.

I would tend to agree with bsdpowa, in that Blogspot is probably your best way forward in this instance. Pretty easy to implement too.

    Cheers guys

Care to elaborate on why you feel blogspot would be better than wordpress?

I've used the Wordpress plug-in but have found it's not quite what I was looking for. Instead, I've done some custom tweaking to my templates to include adSense in different areas of my blog.

there are two adsense plugins that I found for Wordpress. The author of the second, in fact, talks about the first one on his page. I think the second has more customizations than the first. I haven't used it yet, but it's the one I downloaded and it appears right on the word press dashboard.
