Wordpress for beginner

This is a good thread to discuss about wordpress. I am currently using blogger. Now I can also use wordpress. There are more features in wordpress then blogger.

Wordpress is also good for beginners but not all. It's a preference of a user on what type of blog domain he wants to use.

I like Worpress better than blogger.com blog due to the many plugins.

Themes are pretty straight forward in WordPress. As far as hosting goes, I've been to myriads of hosts in the past few years and I've finally settled with asmallorange. Their prices may not be the best, but I can say that without a doubt their support is amazing. The first support ticket I submitted there was answered within 2 minutes!
