I'm looking for free live customer support tools, like HumanClick or LiveHelper. I've tried both and currently use HumanClick fopr one of my website, but I need another for my other website. Can anyone suggest other providers? Thanks.

You can use ICQ to provide live support. There are numerous scripts available that can show your status not to mention the numerous resources that ICQ has on their site. You can even put a form on your site for people who don't have ICQ. Since it is the most well-known and most used Instant Messenging service (45 million users) you can't really go wrong with it.
ICQ is one of two AOL programs I'll permit to be installed on my computer. The other is Navigator.

AIM is fairly popular and just yesterday AOL promised to open their special (not normal) Oscar protocol that they use for AOL-certified clients. That means that essentially ICQ and AIM will merge. AOL seems to be under a DDoS attack (ya know, 3 users signed on!!) right now but as soon as their pages respond I'll get the URL for everyone.
ICQ, AIM, and Netscape are the only three programs I'll live with, but I only use AIM under Linux. The AOL AIM client is really bad.
I agree with Wayne, use ICQ as one way of contact. But also let yourself be contacted through AIM like HostRocket does: http://www.hostrocket.com/tech_support.html .

Try the following:
http://LiveAssistance.com/ http://liveperson.com/
If you need more, I can tell you some other similar services but ALL of them charge a monthly fee.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've looked over the resources you recommended, and nothing compares with the ease and effectiveness of HumanClick [it's free and you don't need to download anything - that only applies to the visitors]
Well, I guess I'll ahve to go with the ICQ option for my other website. Got anywhere nice that I can go for PHP scripts?

Check PHP.net under the projects section. They list a lot there, for every purpose. Also www.devshed.com has their script library.

I personally don't like "HumanClick" all that much...unless you're very likely to get in touch with someone...I find many sites use HumanClick, but arn't there when you try to contact them...this is very frustrating...
I think offering support via ICQ, AOL/AIM and MSN is the way to go...this will cover almost all of your customers...
