    Flash Design for VS 2005

    Hi,

I am developing desktop applications in Visual Studio 2005.

I am at beginner level but am keen to learn.

I want to make my applications look flashy like adobe flash apps or web 2.0 websites.

Any ideas, articles, tutorials, resources on how to make my applications more appealing?

    Thank You.

You can always make/draw the GUI in Flash and make it to talks with the VB.NET, C# or any other .NET FW supported language.
Also you can check this link to see how it should looks like if you want to make your site user-oriented.

    Regards

Definately XAML and Windows Presentation Foundation. This is the very reason XAML and WPF were made.

Download a trial of Microsoft Expression Blend (and consider buying it). Expression Blend is the flashy UI designer for desktop (and possibly silverlight) applications. It sports animations etc. Cool stuff.
