    Rudy,

    I'm aware that there is a slight performance lose in regards to use of transactional support but the benefits overall out way any disadvantages otherwise. The example you've given is an excellent example but it's not something that can solved in every case?

    Transactional support is something I've never questioned before, so can you convince me it's not a choice for every occasion, by default (not taking logging for example)?

    if you can achieve the same result without using transactions, why would you want to use transactions?
