I was PMed by someone. But when I try to respond, I get this message:
billygoatbrian has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
How can someone PM you but not receive PM's back? As no other contact information was included, I have no way of contacting them. What do I do? Is there anyway that SitePoint can contact them and inform them that they have turned off their PMs?

I've sent and replied to PMs several times. It's not me, its him.
What I don't get is how you can SEND a PM if you cannot RECEIVE one.
There in lies the problem.
It's possible on these forums to set you private message function to only moderators or buddies.
There's always the email option. Is there a "Send Email" link in his profile? (I haven't checked.)

I couldn't find his profile yesterday. However, today his PMing was turned on.
My guess is he is a new member who hadn't been totally approved yet.
Still, I wish that sitepoint would not allow people to send PMs if they cannot receive them. It should be all or nothing, IMO.
