    Transparency Problem in IE6 (Links inside won't work with style)

    Ok, so I have this class here:

    td.row1, td.row2, td.row3, td.row3Right, td.postbottom {
    border: 1px #990213 solid;
    background:url(http://www.montycora.com/jraunlimite.../contentbg.png) !important;
    background: transparent; filterrogidXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='http://www.montycora.com/jraunlimited/templates/supernatural/images/contentbg.png',sizingMethod='scale');
    }

    So, it looks great on IE6, IE7 and Firefox.... the only issue on IE6 is that the links inside the container I'm using this style simply are no longer clickable.... Any ideas to how I could work this out? I tried using background color opacity instead, but as I wanna use only 30% transparency, everything in it becomes transparent too along with the background, so it has got to be an image...

    Any help is much appreciated

    It's because of the transparency filter for IE.
    To bypass this, you'll have to make a container for the element (a div with a background-image for example) with the transparency, and put that one behind any other interactive elements. So basicly you can position the div absolute, and put the a-element over the div. If the a-element is a child of the div with the transparency filter, it's no longer clickable.

    Oh, thanks... but I'll have to change the whole thing then, cause it's a forum and I can't bypass this... Everything is dynamically generated and it just wouldn't work I'll have to come up with something special just for IE6....whatta drag!
