    Question Layout Quirks

A few items which have been troubling me that I cannot figure out.

    http://192.168.168.133/

    1. I need the top and bottom fluch with the page. FF seems to add a border and IE7 does not. And I have not even looked at IE6 and opera yet.

    2. The line spacing on in the <div id="whyJoin_CVP"> is not constant in IE7.

    3. And some reason my man navigation just lost its styling in IE!?

Fix one thing and another new issue! I hate that. I think I am going to start this layout from scratch again. The little problems frustrate me. Also, this page validates xhtml strict. It is the XMl in the RSS that thows it off so, please ignore. Thanks.

    Question

I am not able to get this page lined up in FF. IE7 renders the flush top and bottom fine.

    Unhappy Update

    Update:

I fixed one of the three problems. Can someone please address the other two. Thanks.

    1. I need the top and bottom flush with the page. FF seems to add a border and IE7 does not. And I have not even looked at IE6 and opera yet.

    2. The line spacing on in the <div id="whyJoin_CVP"> is not constant in IE7.

    You should use <input attribute="value" /> not <input attribute="value"></input>.

You're missing the end tag for <li class="story1">.

To address issue #1, give #headerLogos float:left. I suggest that you remove the clearing <div> after it and apply clear:both to the <ul> instead. Also it seems odd that you're using EMs as your units for creating vertical spacing with margins when you want it to line up with a background image.

To address issue #2, making text line up with background images like that never works right. What happens when the user changes the font-size?

Thank you very much for your input. i have applied the changes you suggested. I also understand the resize issue you brought up. This is a mock up draft page. I will investigate a more accommodating design when I get around to it.
