FileZilla/ftp on Linux
Any Linux users out there?
Have recently started using Linux Mint (based on Ubuntu, in turn based on Debian) and am absolutely loving it. Performance over Vista on my laptop has been staggering - my only stumbling block at the moment is with ftp.
I have tried gFTP, kFTP Grabber and FileZilla and none will allow me to graphically transfer directories and contents. The only way to transfer in this fashion that I have found is to manually create a mirrored structure and transfer files individually - not particularly efficient!
I have got the win version of FileZilla working with Wine, but I'd prefer to use Linux native software if at all possible. Has anyone else come across this problem, or is anyone able to offer a solution?
Many thanks,
H~The Artist Latterly Known as Crazy Hamster~

I use FireFTP on Windows, it is free and cross-platform (it is a firefox plugin) and I like it better than FileZilla.

It is cross-platform. I just happen to use it on Windows.

My muppet points++
Nice Paul. Actually does what I ask and neater than the other options. Gonna play with it for a while, and if it doesn't die on me, I think that a donation is in order - cheers~The Artist Latterly Known as Crazy Hamster~
