Sorry, but I think rigging voting is wrong (even if everyone does it).

Johnny's site is great, but 007 is better.

This really shoudln't be the way these awards are done though, as it isn't fair to vote for different sites in different categories as though they were in one category.

Johnny may well have been able to win if hte competition was split into various categories.

Jeremy, You've got a good point there - hoping to add multiple votes or separate categories for the next version of the site.

    thanks for your support all

*blushes*...thanks guys...you made all that work worth while I gotta say that the competition is tough (too tough for me!!). To get any kinda recognition on the web is great, and off Sitepoint members (esp Chas...I owe you one!!) it means even more to me!!

    Compared to sites like:

    http://www.mjau-mjau.com/main.html

(which was number 1 when I dropeed by in the voting) my site withers away into nothingness....this shows some excellent Flash development However, I would say in my favour my site loads very quickly (level0 main interface is about 42k!), and as most people in the UK are still using 56k dialup connections, this seemed like the logical way to go. My site seems small content wise, but the whole thing is made up of about 120 flash movies, with quite a few variables being passed between loads of layers. Theres quite a bit there if you have a good look around! My site also has a different aim than most others, effectivley being a profile and porfolio site where I can highlight my skills to design agencies, rather than pushing Flash to the limits...a nice easy to navigate interface (which I hope I achieved!!).

I hope that I can convince people that Flash development has it's time and place, and if designed well can rival any pure HTML for speed...and for interface design there is no comparison!! Aren't you getting a little bored of those tired same old framesets and little rollovers...yea thought so

Broadband style Flash is a great step forward for web developers and visitors as a whole, and I look forward to embracing this style of development in the future!!

RE Vote rigging, not really my kinda thing... but all riggers welcome!!

Once again ,thanks guys. Oh, and Chas...keep up the good work, I came across that site a little while ago, so to get a mention on it makes me so happy...

...ahhh, I did good after all mom!
