Dropped Queries Causes | One MySQL user, multiple php access?

I notice that often times when simultaneous mysql queries are done, only one seems to get processed. What could be the cause?

Is there a case where using just one mysql username in mysql_connect() would allow for just one person to access read/write of mysql db?

It depends on what database operations you are performing, but usually no... more likely queries are failing or you have having a server performance issue.

Another possibility can be that if several users are running the same queries that they "overwrite" the updates from the other users.

Though that would imply bad logic in the initial design of the script, but its a possibility as well as a server performance issue.
