Before I post a load of code I will describe a problem I have encountered in case it has cropped up before with any of you javascript/ajax wizards.

I am using ajaxUpdater (something to do with the prototype library) to change the content of a couple of layers in a page.

There is a vertical <ul> of small images used to change category, and a horizontal <ul> to change product within the category.

In FF nothing extraordinary happens when I click these links, but in IE7 the horizontal images get closer to each other, and in IE6 the vertical ones bunch up a bit.

Does anybody know what is happening, or do you need to see the code?

Thanks to all who take the time to read this, and special thanks to those who think about how to fix it!
