    Repeating image issues

    This only seems to happen in a few browsers, I've not been able to figure out the problem just yet. Its probably somthing obvious..

    Basically, on pages with lots of content, as you scroll down you get the blue bar up top repeating on the bottom. Is there any way to fix this?

    The "best" way is in CSS:

    PHP Code:
    BODY background-image:url(back.gif); repeatNO-REPEAT;}

    forgive my ignorance, since I'm not up to date with the times in terms of web (spent too much time with director), is that bit of code you gave me CSS or PHP? How would I use this code?

    that code weirdbeardmt gave is css. just insert it into the <head> section of your file...like this:

    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    <style type="text/css">
    BODY { background-image:url(back.gif); repeat: NO-REPEAT;}
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>

    Assuming you want to put it in a <TD> or <TR>:

    PHP Code:
    td {BACKGROUND-IMAGEurl(background.gif); REPEATNO-REPEAT;}
    or to just some <TD> or <TR>

    PHP Code:
    td.withbackground {BACKGROUND-IMAGEurl(background.gif); REPEATNO-REPEAT;}
    then

    Code:
    <TD CLASS="withbackground">
    If you want to apply it to the whole table, just create a new one:

    PHP Code:
    .background {BACKGROUND-IMAGE:url(background.gif); REPEATNO-REPEAT;}
    then,

    Code:
    <TABLE CLASS="background">
