    Browser resize menu movement

Hi guys, I noticed this on a very prominent website: http://www.sony.com.au/index.jsp

The reason I noticed is because I work for sony, and actually told them about the problem, but the people in the web dept said that they don't know whats causing it (because they didnt make the site).

being a keen website designer in my spare time, im pretty sure the problem can be fixed, and i want to go up to the web team and be like "i told you so!".

it could be javascript but i may be wrong

    anyone got any ideas

Yes i know. I dont know who made the site but i can guess it was outsourced.

Is there a simple way to fix this? maybe putting it in a div or something? I'm not sure but I'd like to find out and make a suggestion to the web team.

I would use a div, and use an unordered list and list items to do the job.
If that doesn't work for you, you can use a div with floating elements inside.

Apparently they cant use a list menu, they need to keep the menu as javascript because of the back-end system that controls it.

if i just wrap the javascript up in a div, will that solve the problem? Or will the javascript not be contained by a div?
