I'm planning to install an online forum for my website. Can anyone suggest a free BBS that's good? Something that looks like this forum but easier to install.
Thanks.

I use BigTalker, http://www.bigtalker.com
Ultraboard is another one, although I heard that it's riddled with bugs and it doesn't look too user friendly.
UBB costs $170 lifetime or $90 per year (so that's out for you). There are a few others but I would go with bigtalker. They are currently in version 4.06 beta and the non-beta release will be soon. It's free by the way.
Oh if you have php and mysql on your server you should have a look at Phorum, http://www.phorum.org
They're all ones I can think of that are worthwhile to look at. I'm sure someone else will think of another couple.

THIS ONE. Use "Ultimate Bulletin Board" by InfoPop (formerly Madrona Park). They have a more slim free version but it is still as awesome as this! The free version allows up to 7 forum topics and unlimited posts within a forum I believe. All the administration features and registration are still intact. It's great and you know it by having posted here!

I've tried Big Talker but I can seem to change the default admin password. How can you do that?

Rizal:
Simply create a new member (i.e. Saltire) then log on as administrator and the password as specified in the readme, then go to Member Control > then the first letter of the username, then select "Edit" of the user who you want to set as administrator. Look at the top. There is a drop down box. Set this to admin. After that, go back to member control and turn off the posting rights to the old "Administrator" member. Hope I've helped.

Wow,
I am suprised no one mentioned Discus. http://www.chem.hope.edu/discus
It's really easy to use ( depending on the installation method you choose). Actually, I once installed it with my nose !
Ok, on a serious note, it's mature discussion board. The free version is a candy too.
You will find a wide selection of forum software in
http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Program...ssage_Systems/
AND

Of course, if you don't want to install scripts and cgis you can always use http://www.coolboard.com.
Have fun

OOps, I just realized that you wanted the site to look like this one. In that case, Discus will not qualify. But you should still give it a try.
