How many do you break?
I break 9, 7, 3, and 2. Although I only break them at work, does that count?"Does this napkin smell like chloroform?"

The only one I'm apparently doing wrong is number 7... "no facial hair"... but I'm pretty sure I'm one of the guys that can pull it off...

...then again you're a suave James Bond super-villain... maybe you can pull it off. Who knows.

I don't always do, just when I feel that's appropriate. The t-shirts are very different, and it depends on the rest of the outfit. Anyways, I'm not really suave

7 & 4 here.
don't women understand that facial hair is practically mandatory in the tech industry? and i only wear running shoes when it's too cold to wear sandles (without socks =])...
if i left the house with socks and sandles, i think my wife would change the locks before i got back!Last edited by bbolte; Jun 27, 2007 at 12:02. Reason: added some stuff

Actually, Shaun, in the picture he posted in the post-your-picture thread, he does look a bit like a James Bond super-villain.
I break 4, 5 and 7. But I also think I can pull facial hair off.

Never trust a man with facial hair. Nor a woman with facial hair, for that matter.
Hint #23: you will find homefriday just as useful on Thursday.

None, really, when I am out. At times, 7.
4, when I was in my teens.

Well let's see here...
I bite my nails a lot (#8) but I do keep them trimmed (to avoid the "bitten nail" look).
I have some facial hair (#7) but not much.
Some of my shirts have small holes in them (#5), but they're really not noticable (my cat was never de-clawed, so guess what happens when he starts kneading on me?).
I don't wear shoes (except dress shoes, and only then when the situation warrants it). I wear black medium industrial-grade steel-toed work boots (#4).
With regard to #3, I do my shopping at Wal-mart, so I'm good to go on that.
I tuck in my T-shirts every day, but I also wear a black long-sleeve dress shirt over it (#2 - and there's that layering effect too), but I don't button up the shirt.
Oh, and as for the no long hair rule, I've had more than a few women threaten to kill me if I ever cut my long hair (they even give me dirty looks when I tie it up, they want it to be free-flowing -- tough luck).Save the Internet - Use Opera | May my mother rest in peace: 1943-2009

Only 10. I only wear belts on formal occasions, otherwise they're uncomfortable.

I sometimes wear white socks with jeans :P But that's it I think.

I wear shorts and t-shirts all the time (I work from home and live in Florida, this is normal) so rules 4 and 9 are stupid.
But yeah, wearing a shirt from a website is dumb unless it's your website and/or you're getting paid for it

Everthing is relative after all, for rule 7, for ex. I had a cousin who once told me that she likes guys having very short beard (of one or two mm)
But then, many girls don't like beard as that's cumbersome in xxx.
Or, as electroskan told many guys, may be 90% of them are in sports shoes in college (in school you must put the formal shoes, that's part of the dress code), question of comfort, in many cities in India.
Then it also depends on the girl, her nature, the moment when the question is getting asked (question of hormonic balances, cycles), etc.
Important is to be clean, to put iron'd clothes with a good dress sense (not like guys with a red shoe and red shirt with a blue pant) what's universal I guess.

I usually don't require a belt (#10) - I think it is silly if you have a polo, oxford, whateva, on untucked. With a tucked in dress shirt with unpleated pants, of course, but with jeans and a polo? Nah...
That's it though - being a long time Brooklynite generally requires looking fairly natty - gotta reprezent.
