    Hostel II

I'm not a fan of gore. I just can't watch it and it's too sick for me. I just read about Hostel II and about how gory it is (even the poster is) and was wondering... who actually enjoys watching this?

Do you like to watch gory movies or not? (Specifically Hostel II.)

Their going back down the b-movie route, more gore less acting = cheaper movie.

I just read the plot details for both Hostels and they both sound disgusting, something I just would not want to watch. I watched Kill Bill and I thought that was about the limit of gore I can tolerate. Hostel and its sequel both just go too far and are a bit sick.

It did make me wonder, though, if outfits like Elite Hunting exist. I wouldn't be surprised if they do.

I do not watch gory movies. Life is gory enough in so many places. I do not need more of it.

    Awwww.

As for gory films, they are not for me. I'd get frustrated and want to join the film to kick the bad guys *** .

The wife enjoys these sick films, I've heard Saw III is really gory, and the wife can confirm, reports also said that a number of people fainted at a cinema when they watched it.

I have not seen Hostel 1 or 2, but I was a fan of the 80's slasher movies, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw..., Maniac and so on.

Then I got into the living dead movies by G. Romero and they are awesome, there have been some bad attempts at reproducing these films but noone has captured it quite the way that Romero did.

I managed to find some European horror films over the years and theses are truly the real gore.

I still like gory movies I suppose.

Not a gore fan either, but if it is set in space, has aliens in it, lots of guns, explosions etc, then I will watch it! Love the parody movies though, Scary Movie etc.

I'm not a fan of horror movies that try to take themselves too seriously... like 28 Days Later, for example.

The cheesy ones are fun to watch, though...

    Evil Dead I and 2
    Night of the Living Dead
    Dawn of the Dead

But I really love the ones that are scary not because of gore or zombies, but because they are remotely possible...

    Misery
    Vacancy

Quite liked Dawn of the Dead (the original) - but it's quite tongue-in-cheek really.

Like Spike - if it's set in space then I'm much more likely to like it. For instance there's the Alien films (well the first two anyway) which I like a lot - particularly Aliens.

DOOM, Resident Evil + sequels love that genre.

Actually the only movie ever, EVER to scare me was Signs.

I had second thoughts about looking out my window that night.

The only English movie that scared the hell out of me was the Ring. What is very funny about it was the fact that in the climax of the movie the girl comes out of the TV....on another day I would have laughed at it but the fact that I was watching the movie all alone in my house at 12.00 in the night really did the trick. Phew....I don't even want to think How I survived that night......definitely I didn't want to watch anymore TV for fear of something coming out of my TV ....but silence can sometime scare you more than anything else so I switched onto 'GOD TV'.....peace.... and to say the least I soon fell asleep.

When my girl cousins saw The Ring they stopped answering the phone for almost a week.

I still tease them about that.
