    Changing colors in Listbox options.

    I want to be able to change colors for the word google in a dropdown listbox. I tried a few things in IE 5.5 and it didn't work. Anyone try this and have it work?

    Well, I know you can change the font color in a dropdown box. To change the colors like that you would have to use several span tags to change the individual letters to the color you want. It would be kind of messy but I think it would work:

    <option><span class="someColor">G</span><span class="nextColor">o</span>...</option>

    .someColor {color:#foofoo;}
