    Help - falling middle column in Firefox!

    Hi - I was so pleased with my next site until I viewed it in Firefox -
    In IE6 all is fine and the middle column sits right in the middle. I can't understand what is happening to cause this.

    My css is:
    body{
    color: #660033;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    font: bold 120%/1.166 Arial, sans-serif;
    background: #FFFF99;
    }

    a{
    color: #006699;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    a:link{
    color: #666600;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    a:visited{
    color: #666666;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    a:hover{
    color: #FFFFFF;
    text-decoration: underline;
    background: #660000;
    }

    h1{

    It would be a good idea to enclose the code in a wrapper div.

    Then set the width of content to 60&#37;

    Is this doing something?

    html body #footer {
    position: fixed;
    }

    as you later have

    html body #footer {
    position: fixed;
    }

    which isn't working in IE - you probably need a doctype - wait while i add one.

    Moments later: Yes, it needed the doctype, as IE was quirking away.

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

    as that seems to be what you're using.

    nearly forgot
    as well as putting <div id="wrapper"> all the html code </div>
    I also added this, as iI thought it looked nicer.
    #wrapper {

    width: 90&#37;;
    margin:auto;

    }

    PS can you tell it's raining where I thought I would go today...
