Problem with named anchor - can you believe it!

    Hi Guys,

I have a question for you, it may be a simple answer that i am overlooking, but for the life of my I can work it out.

    http://www.pottytraining.com.au/fundraising/

For some reason on the page above the links in the left column (which are links to anchor points on the page) only work the first time you click on of the links, any subsequent clicks on the links do not work. I have tried it with and without the slash before the #namedanchor but neither works, both only work the first time a named anchor is clicked. I have been able to reproduce the problem in FIREBOX (mac) IE (windows).

    with slashes = http://www.pottytraining.com.au/fundraising/
    without slashes = http://www.pottytraining.com.au/reward_charts/

We use apache mod_rewrite to get our user friendly URL's but I don't see how that would affect the browsers behaviour (just thought I would mention it in case it does).

I know if seems like a silly problem, but if anyone has an answer or any thoughts, I would appreciate your help.

    Regards,
    Colin

Your problem is with your sifr image replacement.

Leave your anchor tags outside of your h tags and you should be ok.

Test with javascript turned off and you'll see what I mean.

Awesome - thanks busy - I did not even think about that. I'll move all the anchors outside of the h1 tags now.

It has been over a year, probably 2 since I last posted a question on sitepoint and I remember now, why I loved reading the forums so much back then, quick, knowledgeable answers!

    Thanks heaps.
