    Something smells rotten in Safari

    Hi!
I've made a website and it's launched now. I checked in Firefox 1.5 and 2, IE 6 and 7, and since ignorance is bliss, I assumed it would then work in Safari. But the javascript menu doesn't work, at all. And since I don't have a mac, and don't know anyone who has a mac, I'm unabled to test it, to see what could be wrong. So I'm hoping there is someone here who could check the site out in Safari on mac, and perhaps point out what the problem could be. The site is: http://www.mip.org.se

I've downloaded Safari for Windows, and that's an entire different story. It doesn't work there either, but the problems are totally different from Safari on mac.

Finally this can come to an end! I developed another site, and got the exact same problem, but only in Safari < 3. The problem was that I was dynamically inserting a CSS-file so that users without javascript got a decent menu, and the users with javascript got a fancy drop down menu. Anyway, that made Safari go nuts, so if you remove that javascript, everything works just fine! This Safari-bug doesn't appear in Safari in PC or newer versions of Safari on Mac.

Have you tried creating the <link> elements with document.createElement()?

Code for Firefox, Chrome, Safari, & Opera, then add fixes for IE, not vice versa.
