how do i go about building this form?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to build this form.
The form is filled out by a user, on submit the data is placed into the database and the user is sent a confirmation 'success' email with their info. At this point an admin needs to be able to log into a back end to view the form and or edit the values entered by the user, print it, email it, etc.
I'm not asking for a script, but more of a general step-by-step to help me plan this out and avoid any pitfalls.
I really appreciate your help.

The key to something like this is your database setup. Make sure you have an auto-increment column in your table so that the inserted data has a reference number that the admin can lookup.
Once you have the table set up, the rest of the project should be relatively simple to do and pretty much the flow that you have described.Mike Swiffin - Community Team Advisor
