sound in php

Hi,
I'm not sure if this will have sense, but my question is :
is it possible to play some music/sound 'with' a PHP page as it's a common thing in flash pages? Or it can be done only by including a *.swf file into a *.php page?

You cannot play music directly with php (that I have ever heard about) but you can use other web technologies, such as flash, to do it for you.
